Miss Lauren Thetford is the Wildcats math and accelerated math teacher. Miss Thetford graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s in math education and a master’s in Mathematics and Statistics from Northwest Missouri State University.  She strives to create a positive learning environment that encourages and builds the confidence of her students. Miss Thetford's goal is to help students overcome their fears of math, and show them how previous content connects to future material. Together, she and her students will create a foundation that will help them be successful, not only this year, but in the years to come.

Mrs. Ashley E. Packard is the Wildcats English Language Arts (ELA) teacher.  This will be her 14th year teaching in Park Hill.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Missouri State in Middle School Math, ELA, and Spanish and her master’s degree from Baker University in Curriculum & Instruction. She has spent her entire life in Park Hill and was actually a student at Lakeview many moons ago! She loves to dream up new and inventive ways to get students excited about THINKING (an essential component of a good reader and writer!). Her spunky attitude and passion for empowering students to embrace & create creative, meaningful, and relevant learning results in a class that requires you to wake up, sit up, and fire up for a great year in language arts!

​Nina Pulatie is the Wildcat Science teacher. She attended Lakeview as a student and is glad to be a part of the Wildcat Team! She graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts Degree and added an additional Master of Arts Degree from Capella University. She has taught grades 2-12 in Colorado and the Kansas City Area. Stats: Park Hill Teacher – Year ONE!; Years in Education – THIRTEEN!

Mrs. Anna Haddad

Mrs. Anna Haddad is the Wildcats reading teacher. Mrs. Haddad received her bachelor’s degree in Middle School Communication Arts and Social Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her master’s degree in Reading from Arkansas State University. Her first two years of teaching were in an ELA classroom, but she has since found that Reading is truly where her heart is. One of Mrs. Haddad’s favorite things about teaching Reading  is discussing good books with her students while encouraging them to think deeply about plots and themes in exciting ways that are relevant to them. Mrs. Haddad is excited for a great year of 7th grade Reading!

Mrs. Jessica Roe is the Wildcats social studies teacher.  This will be her 11th year teaching and her 8th in Park Hill.  She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and a specialist degree in Superintendency from Northwest Missouri State University. Mrs. Roe loves to travel, especially to the places she teaches about. She spent time in Europe studying history in college and has visited many places covered throughout the year. This year students will focus on current events and issues going on around us. Be ready for the rollercoaster ride that is social studies this year!
